Currently, MMX Sudeste holds mining rights to be explored.

    Sudeste do Brasil Port

Porto Sudeste do Brasil, formerly known as Sudeste Superport, is a private mixed-use port terminal that exclusively handles iron ore.
MMX acquired the Sudeste Superport in May 2011 through a public exchange offer to acquire the shares. Previously, the port belonged to LLX, the EBX Group's logistics company.
On February 2014, MMX concluded negotiations to sell 65% of Porto Sudeste do Brasil to Trafigura and Mubadala. At present, MMX has 1,55% stake in the Port’s capital.

Located in Mato Grosso do Sul State, an area with large reserves of high-quality iron ore, the MMX Corumbá System went into operation in September 2006. This system currently has an installed capacity to produce 1.5 million metric tons a year. This unit is currently going through a leasing process for the Vetorial Mineração.
